My OperaRace Day Update #3

9:00pm. It's official! The bike is broken, but Bryan is not!! Apparently Bryan didn't take my lesson in avoiding large rocks very seriously. He is waiting at the 320 mile mark (pit 6) for the rest of the team to pick him up, which will take at least a couple hours. Happy to report that Dan is feeling much better after some IV & a shot of VitC. These boys still have many hours ahead of them by the time they pick up Bryan and then drive back to Ensenada. They won't be in till the wee hours of the morning. Way to go Guys!! Alot of Guts to even compete in this race!!
The kids and I walked down to the baseball stadium, which is where the finish line is. Stayed for the cotton candy and watched about a dozen bikes & trucks come in. Not quite as exciting knowing our boys weren't coming across that finish line! Took a cab back to hotel and watching "Dust to Glory" on the tube!! We've got the fever!!
