It is Friday morning. I am headed to Heathrow. I had a light hearted post figured out and fired up my computer, but I stopped to read the news and check the situation at the airport. I talked to Kim last night and told her I was worried about not being able to carry any duty free on the airplane. This morning I realized that today is the 11. The papers over hear are saying they thwarted an 8/10, but I am wondering if it was to be a 8/11. Apparently there are still 5 guys with arrest warrants out, so hopefully those guys don't get on the airplane to Vancouver.
I have been away too long and really need to get home to see Kim and talk to Poco Burrito. Kim says he always starts kicking when he hears my voice. That's probably because I am taking his Mum on some stupid adventure that a pregnant woman shouldn't be going on. What the heck, a bunch of guys with bombs isn't really a big deal, I survived the Baja with Dan. Speaking of which, Dan has just informed me that he is confirmed for the Baja 1000 in November. I look forward to guest blogs by RaceDog and Lizard to keep us updated on his progress.
Hopefully I can get some duty free too.
