Several Months back Brent and I stopped in at Jamie "Huge's" Place, while riding, only to discover a Pre-Launch Party for his new dock, called Echo Island. Last weekend we stopped in at his dock for a visit. I have never got any of the launch and assembly pictures but here are a couple of the dock and his boat.
This is Huge's 29' Scarab. It is a really cool boat. Jamie built the engine complete with a ProCharger. On a dyno test the ProCharger boosted the engine output from 517 Hp, 549 ft lbs Torque to 713 Hp. The downside is that it burns about 205 litres of fuel per hour. This would be a serious big boy toy.
The boat does 78 mph. Not bad for a 29' boat. It is for sale if anyone is interested. Check out Jamie's Website Pacific Marine Performance.
My little boat pales in comparison. The good news is that it ran well this time. Kim and Ali enjoyed their time on Echo Beach.
