Poco is doing well. He still doesn't have a name. If we take the best corporate offer for naming, he will be called Air Canada Cox. He is so tiny that perhaps we should rename him Minúsculo Burrito. Cam has been calling him <InsertNameHere>. The Public Health Nurse stopped by on Friday and he had dropped to 2480 g, or he was at 92% of his birthweight. A nurse is stopping by this afternoon for another weigh, to make sure he is eating okay. Based on his genetic background, eating won't be a problem.
I have been somewhat occupied with the new baby thing, and remiss about relating one of Dan's riding stories. It is now a couple of weeks old. He was supposed to send me pictures, but I suspect that isn't going to happen. Here is Dan's narrative:
Got the bike stuck in a "dry" lake bed last weekend. Up to the axles in clay/mud. Had to lay it on it's side to dig it out. Course when it was on it's side it flooded. So, when the kids and I finally got it out (1 hour later) and tried to start it, got a backfire, then just a fire. Yanked the side cover off and got it put out, but not before it ruined the cover. Rode 20 miles back with my jersey stuffed in the airbox for a filter, before the sleeve came loose and wrapped around the rear tire. I feel like Homer Simpson.
It is quite an adjustment to go from a bachelor to having a full family in the house. Just this morning I found the shooter glasses being used as egg cups.
Cheers
Bryan Kim and <Insert Name Here>
