Christmas Wrap Up

I have been very slack on posting lately. I have been meaning to post some Christmas and Festive Season Wrap Ups. We had a great Christmas at Donna and Dans, and almost everyone got what they wanted .. well almost
The stockings were hung by the stair with care, since a fireplace was lacking,

And in the morning everyone opened their presents with great anticipation.
Connor and Emily got IPODS, meaning more of that incredibly annoying I-Tunes software. Based on I-Tunes, I would never buy a Mac.

Jerry Kim and I all got new jackets (from the Sears Catalog, or at least the poses are)

However it appears that some of the wishes to Santa got scrambled on the way. Kaila asked Santa for a guitar player in a Rock Band.

One of Kim's wishes to Santa was misinterpreted as well.

Eric got new safety glasses, after his Dad's minor slip up in the Christmas letter, publishing a picture of running the saw with no glasses.

I asked Santa if he could raise my level of motorcycling to that of Brent and Dan (I figured Johnny Campbell was out of the question).

Donna wanted a second reindeer for her front yard.

She got it, but I am not sure who was happier.

Cheers
Ho Ho Bryan

You did have some Mexico to recover from.

Good poses! When I was little, the Sears catalog was the definitive word on what was cool for Christmas. Now Sears is flying low to the water with bits of K-Mart bursting through.

Agree. I was forced to buy someone an iPod Nano for Christmas. No other brand would do. I found out that I-Tunes is the *only* way to load music on it, and I-Tunes only runs on Windows and Mac, totally leaving out my Linux boxes. With the brand I personally own, Cowon, I can just jack it in and load music using a plain vanilla file manager, no special software required at all, plus it plays the open Ogg Vorbis (.ogg) format which the iPod won't do. That Nano didn't even come with a charger, so if it dies away from a computer, there's no recharging it. I should have told the person they were getting a Cowon, period! Oh, but all their friends have Nanos.

Fabulous pictures! Loved 'em. heart

Dave
I read your earlier post about your Cowon with interest. I have inherited Emily's IPOD Shuffle, and have been looking for alternatives to Itunes. Once I get rid of Vista, I think I will try mediamonkey and see how I fare.
