Fat Guy Follies

The Adventures of Bryan and Friends

Right Then Mick

Kim celebrated a milestone birthday a couple of weeks back. Some of the family have been hounding me about not getting anything posted. Tonight every muscle in my body hurts after a good day on the motorbike, and I am too tired to work, so I will post a few pics.

We invited everyone over to start the evening with a Carne Asada dinner. Brenda was kind enough to smuggle some real Carne Asada from south of the border. Since we invited 5 or 6 members of the big boy club for dinner, 12 pounds of meet was ordered.

The only problem with smuggling good Mexican food into Canada, is that it is much harder to smuggle a Mexican to cook it.

Therefore the task fell to the only Gringo that has been to a Spanish speaking country, which really isn't the best way to select a chef. A few minor grillage mishaps ensued.

Fortunately Brenda knows that the secret to a good dinner is a good pre-dinner drink (or 6)

The feeding frenzy started and a bit of black on the meat didn't really slow down the faithful. Notice how proper etiquette is followed, fat guys first, women and children get the scraps.

I baked a great cake for Kim....

Then it was time for the party bus. We had selected Gentleman Jim's Cherry Bomb, as the official transportation provider for Kim's celebration. I was equipped with a killer stereo, and a brass pole for dancing. Unfortunately, the pictures are not suitable for family viewing.....
Cheers
