For me...the world consists of the people I love.

I haven't written in here in while, but I thought I'd break that by writing about the senior retreat. It was a few weeks ago, but oh well.

I can't even describe what it was. I knew it would be good, but it ended being mind blowing. It was an amazing experience for not only me, but I think the class as well. We grew much closer as a class in my opinion, and I've never been in such an emotional environment. I didn't see one person not cry. It was just...amazing.

Also, it definitely made me grow closer to God, closer to my Catholic faith. Adoration is always so emotional for me, seeing the host of Christ up on the alter, and its just so emotional because I always see him there, up on the alter.

Also, the thing that I can't forget is that Barret has converted to Catholicism as well. He's not all the way Catholic, but he's believing more and more of it because of the retreat, and I'm happy for him. He wasn't Catholic before, but on that Tuesday when we had Mass he went up to take the host. I was confused at first, but then he told me why he had taken it. It was his choice and no one was forcing him. It was cool, and I was happy for him.

So that was my experience. It was just amazing.
