Firefox-Benutzer - Hitlers willige Helfer / Hitler's willing helpers?

Eigentlich wollte ich mich über whyfirefoxisblocked.com nicht mehr aufregen, weil diese Sache einfach nur lächerlich ist.
Aber Danny gibt nicht auf, findet heraus, dass Wladimir Palant Deutscher ist, und weiß jetzt also ganz genau, warum Palant, der Autor der Firefox-Erweiterung Adblock Plus, nicht wenigstens ein Hintertürchen offenlässt, um nicht doch Werbung anzeigen zu können:
Nicht etwa, dass Danny hier irgendetwas total verkehrt herum sieht: ER will schließlich die Firefox-Benutzer zwingen, Adblock Plus nicht zu benutzen, während diese es als ihr Recht ansehen, (teilweise höchst nervige!) Werbung zu blockieren.
Vergleiche mit Hitler kommen in Deutschland ganz schräg rüber - besonders, wenn sie von einem Amerikaner stammen und so dermaßen platt und unüberlegt geäußert werden. Zudem ist dieser Vergleich hier vollkommen daneben - schlimmer geht's ja gar nicht. Wir Deutsche haben es satt, in allem was wir machen gleich als Hitler willige Helfer angesehen zu werden.
Fazit: Danny Carlton verrennt sich mit seinem Projekt. An Lächerlichkeit sind seine aktuellen Aussagen kaum mehr zu überbieten.

Don't you think that Danny is totally wrong at this point? Isn't it Danny who wants to force Firefox users to not use Adblock Plus? Whereas they claim it as their right to block (mainly annoying!) advertisements.
Analogies with Hitler are very disliked in Germany - especially when an American guy tells them with such inconsiderately sense. If anything that we Germans do and Americans don't like has got something to do with Hitler - why do Americans wonder about anti-americanism in Germany?
Firefox, Adblock Plus, Americans, Germans, advertisements, Internet Explorer - where is the link to Hitler's toilet??? That point is so ridiculous - can Danny Carlton beat himself any more?

As a German, I imagine Palant simply doesn't understand the America concept of taking risks to stand up for your rights. That would be why the German people so placidly allowed Hitler to turn their nation into his own personal toilet, and we Americans had to rescue the world from their mess.
