If you are like me you visit many sites which require logins & passwords. For security reasons you should not use the same passwords on any sites. If someone gets hold of your password they can login into your bank, myspace and other sites. So the only real solution is to use many different passwords, but how do you remember them all? Try Roboform2go , a free and easy to use solution. With Roboform2go you can create a vault of website username/password/URL combinations (they call them passcards) on a trusted computer, and then carry around this data on a USB drive which you can then use on any computer. It is a useful and easy–to–use password management system that doesn’t require much time to set up or learn. Have I mentioned it is free, you have to supply the usb key which most of us already have. Once you use it I am sure you will keep it at your side when surfing the net.

Navman iCN330 Review

, , , ...

If you been reading my blog in the past you know I like to search for the cheapest price on any electronics or anything else for that matter. I had been checking retail outlets and the internet for a portable navigation system for the past 8 months. I didn't want to spend over $200.00 for a gps and last week checking Dealnews.com they found me a system and a price I could be happy with. The system was a Navman iCN330 with a price of $119.00 add tax and the price was right for me. But would I like what I just purchase? The answer is a YES

I was a little concerned if it would live upto the other models out there and for the money it did. I opened the box and the unit was nice looking, felt good to the touch. I put the memory card in the slot and proceeded to my Jeep. I put the suction mount on the windshield and it held tight, I plugged the unit into my lighter and was ready to turn it on. When I did I was happy to see a bright anti-glare color screen which was what I expected from a higher priced unit. Okay the screen is only 2.83" but is liveable and with great graphics. The GPS satellites make quick connect and I was up and running without a hitch. The unit comes with beautiful 3d maps which is easy to change the angle, turn by turn voice guidance (either male or female)and loudness was clear even over traffic, back on track if you miss a turn, pre-installed USA maps including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Guam on the memory card. It is compact, mobile, lightweight, portable from vehicle to vehicle in seconds, built in mini-mcx external antenna port which I haven't needed the built in antenna works just fine. You can view your route in multiple ways using 3d map, next instruction, instruction list and route summary screens. Free driving - no route required, points of interest and a rechargeable battery. I have only driven on battery life for 1 hour and so far the battery hasn't gone dead yet.

What really surprised me was I live the edge of a state forest in Pa in a community. My 2007 Jeep Commander which is a $40,000 vehicle has a factory nav unit that once I drive thru the community gate tells me it can't give me any further driving instructions. Well, my new cheap Navman gave me directions straight to my driveway.

To sum up my review: for the money it was a great deal and I am more than happy with it after 3 days and would recommend it to anyone on a budget.
