Volkuro- Well comfy enough to sleep in anyway:D You think LWU would still want to visit after seeing this mess, she strikes me as being quite fastidious.
Its an Oil lamp with the wick removed, when we were having all the high winds the pressure used to build up in here enough to make the oil push out through the top of the wick and dribble everywhere
The first day that I saw the oil dripping from the knuckles I had no idea what had happened. The wick is in a little glass tube that sits in a hole in the top of the ball, so there is a certain amount of capillary action going on anyway but when the wind was high it started to almost bubble up through it.
I am very surprised at the positive reaction to my excessively cluttered desk, I was sure people would think it too crowded.
There is a normalish flat pack desk under it all, but with lots of customization, bits thrown out and others added in.
included is a wooden wine crate with software and games piled up in it, Two old kitchen drawers joined together into a set of mini shelves filled with DVDs
Various bits of scrap wood making the stand that holds the laptop upright, originaly built as a book stand- will hold a book up to 4 inches thick and 2 feet tall!!, adjustable and will hold the pages open.
the little stand for the keyboard more scrap wood, can fit another keyboard under it ot the graphics tablet.
