It's Been Awhile

March Madness is over and April is here. It's been a long while since I last updated, not such a good start on the new blog.
However, it was Madison's birthday two days ago and since we are not able to be there to celebrate with her, I hope she had a good day. I'm pretty sure she did.
So Happy Birthday from all of us. We hear that they're probably coming to visit in July so that will be nice, more family to spend time with.
Vail has been getting interviews lately so that's a really good thing, hopefully he hears back soon. He's been out riding his bike a lot exploring Portsmouth and Old Towne, riding the ferry, and fixing the house up.
Nothing has really changed in the last couple of months except the weather. It's been a love/hate feeling with the weather. It can't make up its mind but we know that summer is going to be here really soon and that means we're going to be stuck with the humidity and if there's one thing I can't stand here, it's the humidity. But on the plus side, I won't have to freeze when I go outside like most mid-westerners
We do have a couple of things we're looking forward to; our trip to Wisconsin in May (exactly one month from now!), Elijah's 3rd Birthday (my gosh, they really do grow up fast), and a lot more events in our hometown! They will be doing a Walk-a-thon, for kids my age and older, to get out more, Story Time at the library and at the Play House, and bunch more stuff. Spring really brings out the best in people.
Making Rice Krispie Treats

He's a scary monster!
Hope you enjoyed this. We'll try better to update more often.
