Camp Fire Stories

sit down and enjoy the read

Guess who’s moving on up?

Elijah is! The little man is preparing to move up into Pre-School! He is very excited about it but is quite apprehensive about leaving “his” Ms. Cristal. We are very excited for him, we think it’ll yield better results than he’s been getting in his class right now. We were able to go up to DC and see my mom & TJ for a quick sightseeing morning and a Nationals baseball game in the afternoon. The stadium served up a hotdog that’s getting written down in Vail’s book- a griddled all beef dog sliced with banana peppers, cucumbers, pickles, onions, tomatoes, green peppers and Dijon mustard. We all enjoyed seeing my mom and TJ and we can’t wait to see them next time, hopefully soon. Elijah has been asking for Grandma Dawn after the visit with Conlin of course. *hint hint*  Even though the visit was short and quick, it was just perfect. Harry and Elianne came down to VB and Vail got to hung out with them often. They went to Williamsburg AleWerks and loved it and their beer, bringing home a couple bottles of reserves. Vail got a home-brewing kit for Father’s Day and can’t wait to use it. We actually got the Groupon for his home-brewing kit, we just haven’t gone to the store yet. Hopefully we’ll get to do that soon. While Harry and Elianne were here, we got a chance to go out to eat which is totally rare for us! Amy and Tom grabbed at the opportunity to watch Elijah for the night which was great. And I finally got Vail to shave his ridiculously long hair! Yay for short hair Smile
