Campus Crew T-shirts: The Folding Mission

,

We have been working for the last two days straight on sending out the goody-bags to welcome members to the Opera Campus Crew. See how a co-worker and I helped make the process of folding 350+ t-shirts more efficient :D. (Apologies for the low-quality video!)

Chas4 17. November 2008, 16:03

Intetresting, is that a box turned into a t-shirt folding machine?

ZaraL 17. November 2008, 16:07

Yep! Patrick, Opera's responsible for the Brazil market, had seen a demonstration of that previously and found a video online that showed the exact measurements for each panel to make it work. He then he cut up an old box and put it together. (Thanks Patrick!)

Chas4 17. November 2008, 16:56

thats cool, another use for those cardboard boxes

Lawmune 17. November 2008, 23:16

borkenek 17. November 2008, 23:45

Awesome!

eztigma 18. November 2008, 01:45

Jajajaja! I have seen Lisa's technique before! In fact, that's how I fold my clothes at home and people are pretty impressed by it!

I posted about it on my personal blog a couple of years ago

I was glad to help. But I think I should make myself one of those for my house... I'm getting kind of lasy... P:

It took just 10 days to arrive here.. pretty fast!
Thank you ^^

ZaraL 25. November 2008, 08:05

Cool picture! Great to know that it arrived! Though that's longer than I thought it would take, and I know some people got theirs two weeks after it was posted, so I hope everyone is patient with the postal system .

eztigma 25. November 2008, 08:07

Postal system is quite slow here in MX, but I'll be patient

scorpionjot 6. December 2008, 16:39

Hey,

Such a sweet video...
My T-Shirt just arrived...

Thanks...

Now, I can show off to my friends...

eztigma 8. December 2008, 06:47

Buuuuu, I haven't received mine yet!!! :'(

Art-Roman 12. December 2008, 16:56

I received it only today! It's cool, thanks!

harish.l 13. December 2008, 10:56

Hmm! postal system does take a bit of a time

ZaraL 15. December 2008, 11:33

Yes, I find it very strange... I send things home to Australia regularly, and that's pretty much the furthest away from Norway you can get, and it only takes a week with regular postage. For some reasons the t-shirts are taking a lot longer!

harish.l 15. December 2008, 11:44

Heh Heh! just an info, my college admission letter came after 20 days of posting that too being in the same city! (via Govt. Registered Post Service) So I'm not hoping to get that opera goodie-bag the soonest.

eztigma 16. December 2008, 05:03

So do I!

myopium 16. December 2008, 14:43

My T-Shirt just arrived too.
Thank's!
I'm very glad!

dantesoft 16. December 2008, 16:39

My t-shirt arrived yesterday, I picked it up today. It had Lisa's folding style

PS: They're finally treating Norway like a EU country and saving me a trip to the train station warehouse to pick up the package.

lexiz08 22. December 2008, 09:39

Hi Zara! Got the shirt, thanks.

It took just eight days to reach Philippine soil.

Posted using Opera Mini 4.2.

SupernevZA 3. January 2009, 14:51

I got mine yesterday, oh and my phone won't install 4.2 cuz o the mods I patched it with, it's something to do with my custom fonts I think

eztigma 10. January 2009, 20:13

Received mine on the mail today (folded by Zara)! I would have loved to take it on my beach trip but damn, mail in my country really sux.

I'll take my posters to frame on Monday so I can put them in the labs (and to make sure they won't get ripped off!)

Thanx and sorry for the impatience p:
