Apply for a Summer Internship with Opera! (Deadline 1 March)
By ZaraZaraL. Thursday, February 19, 2009 1:16:03 PM
Would you like to spend your summer gaining new experience, seeing a new country and taking an internship with Opera Software? Then your dreams may be about to come true! Applications are soon closing for our summer internship program. Learn more about the internships and apply at http://www.opera.com/company/jobs/opening/211/. There are 25 internships available this summer, for which the application deadline is Sunday 1 March. The deadline was moved forward due to the overwhelming 250 applications we have already received, requiring us to start reviewing applications as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience. Applications for the summer internships will still be accepted until April 1, but by then there will be tougher competition to fill the final remaining spots, so we encourage you to apply sooner rather than later
.This year summer internships are available in engineering, testing and web applications only. These are paid internships that will last 2-3 months and can be taken between May and September 2009. They will be based at Opera Software’s headquarters in Oslo, Norway. Applicants from EU/EEA countries are preferred because it is faster to process their visa applications, so if you are applying from outside those countries you should submit your application as soon as possible to allow more time. You will hear back within a month of your application if you have been successful.
Please apply through the website, rather than emailing your application to us. We look forward to hearing from you, and best of luck with those who will apply or have applied already!

The first link is an overview of our normal summer program positions, but if you follow the links you'll see it says no such position available. The second link seems to be special positions opened recently, specific to the Poland office (we do not normally have interns there).
