Opera Mini Presentation at Law Faculty Krisnadwipayana University, Jakarta Indonesia

This time, with the help of Mrs. Indrihadi Isnaeni, 3rd Deputy Dean, we were supported by the Faculty of Law student council and Andi Agung who has coordinated with Law students to make this event happen.

Mrs. Indrihadi Isnaeni, gave a welcoming speech and then Mr. Harjono, Informatics Engineering department head opened the Opera Mini seminar with the theme, “The world in your hand with Opera Mini”.

There was 110 participants mostly Law student vary from freshman, sophomore till senior level and of course Informatics student.

Again in this event, I introduced the Google search engine, and how to maximize the use of Google in your daily life. Then all about social networking sites, social media including YM, Friendster and Facebook. We closed the presentation with Opera Software, the product: Opera Mini, Opera Mobile, Opera Desktop etc, Opera people and Opera community - and most importantly that you can search the web and go to your social networking sites using Opera Mini on your phone.

Dr. Lodewijk Gultom, Dean of Law Faculty also spent his time to join the seminar and next was Mrs. Indrihadi Isnaeni, 3rd Deputy Dean.

Faculty staff and lecturer also attended this presentation.

Imam Mutaqqin, Informatics engineering student, an OCC member shared his slides about Opera Campus Crew to participants.

Then Ahmad Saripudin, also an Informatics Engineering student and an OCC member, showed the participant number of OCC members across the globe.

Wow, and you practically doubled the number of people attending for your second seminar! Well done, everyone! And again, great to see such high attendance from a faculty that you would normally assume to be interested in technical topics.

Did you find it was much easier to run the second seminar, while the first seminar and what you learnt there was still fresh in your minds?

Well Zara, I should admit that we were supported by Mrs. Indrihadi Isnaeni, 3rd Deputy Dean who has appointed Andi Agung (Law Faculty student council) as a coordinator of his friend to join this event

So we only prepared the presentation.
Yes, of course .. it was much easier to the second seminar, we just added examples that suit law area.

Ow, particulary in Google session, one example I shared the use of keyword 'filetype:pdf' plus law term to get latest cyberlaw document.
