My OperaOpera Door-to-Door(New Mak and Makerere Hostels)

A chilly weather in the evening of Saturday 16thMarch gave a conducive environment to find most residents stick to their warm rooms. Someone had to say 'come in' in almost 70% of the rooms we knocked. It was amazing, wasn't it?
We had Opera 10.50 and all anti virus virus definitions in four Compaq Discs. The figure four also made the number of groups the event constituted, five groups with a two members each. This means that in a five storay hostel, every group would work with only one floor by this time we took was a fifth. We visited more than 200 rooms within four hours. Pleasing ah!
The anti virus virus definitions was meant to spice up the event and 'lure' unfriendly faces to get to know the fastest browser in the world. This is our strategy and we have proved that it works magically.
Though we didn't take proper figures on the number of computer and phones we installed Opera, the figures are close to the following:

- Opera Mini 4.2: 50 phones
- Opera Mini 5 : 1 phones
- Opera Mobile: 0 phones
- Antiviruses: all the computers we installed Opera 10.5

A great idea to seize the opportunity when some cold weather came about. You guys have been really great with looking out for these little opportunities to organise an impromptu Opera event, and well done on taking the initiative.
