Opera Campus Crew - Your Country Coordinators

Your Country Coordinators

Opera Software has a team of people responsible for managing outreach activities in particular countries, especially those where we have a large user base. The team also helps follow up OCC members. This means Crew members in those countries have a closer staff contact point at Opera (so all 900 of you won't have to share just me

), someone who is focused on growing Opera there and understands the country, and – even better – speaks the same local language!

The country coordinators are members of Opera Software staff and not Campus Crew members themselves. Their role includes media relations, conferences and events, advertising, marketing, university tours and follow-up of the Campus Crew in their country.

I am the contact person for all other countries. We'll keep you up to date when new country coordinators get added to this list.

You may have already seen them on the blog/forums or heard from them (or even met them, as it’s these guys who organise the university tours). You can email them instead of me if you have any questions. Make sure you contact them, as they'll be a big help for you!

We currently do not have a country coordinator for India in the marketing team, which is why there is no specific person to handle the OCC members in India. That makes me the OCC coordinator for India

There is not currently a country coordinator for Nigeria, which makes me the contact person for the time being.

seriously, nobody from India. I though there were quite a lot of Opera users, specially on mobile devices in india!

Small clarification: The country coordinators are members of Opera's consumer marketing team. There is currently no marketing coordinator for the Indian market, which is why there is no coordinator for India on the list. We are in the finishing stages of hiring somebody for that position.

In the meantime, I am responsible for the Indian Crew members as well as for all the other markets in which we don't have a coordinator.

No Kiwis at Opera as far as I know, Henry. But looking at that statue makes me think that we are sure missing out on some awesomeness over here!
