Opera Software joined the Computer Indonesia Festival exhibition held on 10 June until 14 June 2009 in Jakarta. We helped out Opera staff members Anissa Putri, Zi Bin Cheah and William Viker in putting things together!
In this exhibition we introduced the Opera 10 beta, which has a Opera Turbo for fast browsing on slow connections, machinery 40% faster and cutting-edge Web standards support, and many new features such as:
- Inline spell-checker
- Auto-update
- Automatic Crash Reporting
- Opera Dragonfly for developing
(Annisa Putri helped the visitors to install Opera 10 beta in their laptops)
(Zi Bin Cheah and Ali Pangestu helped the visitors to install Opera Mini and Opera Mobile in their mobile phone)
Then we also introduced the Opera Mobile 9.7 beta version, which can be downloaded for free.
Opera Mobile 9.7 has new features such as:
- New rendering engine
- Increased support for Opera Widgets
- Widget Manager
- Opera Mobile 9.7 supports Opera Turbo
- Google Gears support
(William Viker)
We are a team of Opera from Indonesia and team Opera from Norway. We were very enthusiastic to introduce Opera Software, such as the 10 turbo-opera, Opera Mobile 9.7 beta, and Opera Mini version 4.2.
We also help the visitors to install the 4.2 version of Opera Mini and Opera Mobile 9.7 beta version in their mobile phones, and of course did not forget to install the Opera 10 beta in their laptops.

After the exhibition is finished, on 18 June 2009, me (Mmega), Mr. Risanto, Kadek Yogi and Ryan met-up in Hotel Sultan Jakarta with Annisa Putri and Zi Bi Cheah before they go back to Norway.
We are team of highly enthusiastic Indonesians. Can Opera Software open a branch in Indonesia? Will it happen? We hope so.
