I have always been a bit sniffy abourt camera phones and never intended to use the one on my Nokia,anyhow went for a walk today and forgot to take spare batteries for my "Proper camera" and was forced to resort to the Nokia.
Well I was gobsmacked by the results so here are a few of the initial shots and I will be taking a few shots with the Nokia in the future just to compare it with the aforementioned "Proper Cameras"

West Somerset Railway Autumn Gala

Working in Somerset I was able to get along to Bishop's Lideard station for the first evening of the Gala,sadly the weather was rather dull so using a high ASA speed some of the shots are grainier than I would have liked.
Still a very pleasant evening and really nice people on this railway.
Severn Valley Railway Autumn Gala

Because I like to make life a little more difficult that it needs to be all the shots were taken on M42 mount lenses (Praktikar 50mm f1.8, Zeiss 28mm f 2.8.Soligor 135mm f2.8) . fitted to my digital SLR by adaptor and manually focused
Canals Of The Black Country

The Black Country as the heart of the Industrial Revolution wasserved by many canals and thankfully they have been restored and our now used regularly by people for Holidays as well as permanent residence on Narrow Boats.
