The Captains Musings

We had a baptism at church this morning and it was one of those where the families are there because it’s the proper thing to “Have our Scarlett done”

They obviously had no faith as was shown by the way they failed to join in with the hymns and prayers and even during the Baptism itself they just mumbled along

In addition their behaviour was appalling talking during the sermon and communion and the kids running about all over the church

It then crossed my mind that had this much disrespect been shown in the Worship Centre of another religion these people would have been lynched or even worse, so as Christians don’t we care about how people behave in our places of worship.
Of course we do but despite their behaviour these people had chosen to come today and so the least we could do was make them welcome in the hope that the words they heard might just sink in.

Many people disagree with my faith but hey it’s a free world and nothing they say ;however insulting, will shake my faith in my god.

Why cant we all be like this ?
