Max Payne

, , , ...

Max Payne was a video game produced and published by Rockstar Games. The game boasted the best use of bullet-time, an amazingly dark storyline about a cop whos family was taken from him by petty drug addicts. Max Payne struggles with the loss of his family while trying to clear his name from the corrupt city that is after him. Diving deeper into the hell that his life has become, the devil is on his own course to truely unleash demons upon the world. Its up to Max Payne to set everything right. At least this is what happens in the game, the preview... seems to keep everything in tact somehow, but we will see...

Treasure Get!

, , , ...

Yes! today I totally scored some sweet swag from my favorite store "Cool Stuff". They specialize in used music, dvds, and video games.... ALL video games except computer, and third party accessories/peripherals. So Lynx and 32X games are a go!

anyway the super sweet treasure I found for $20 total includes:
Crystal Ball 4 disc Album - Prince
F-Zero - Super Nintendo (pictured right)
Killer Instinct - Super Nintendo
C2: Judgement Clay (Clayfighters 2) - Super Nintendo
Toy Story - Sega Genesis
My cousin scored a super sweet bonus! The really really hard to find Sega 32X game "Knuckles Chaotics" was there! That is one amazing find! he also picked up Earthworm Jim 2 for GBA.

Today was great!

"24 Megs of Play Action"

, , ,

Yesterday I found a copy in-case with instructions of Earthworm Jim! This game is pretty hard to find anymore as it is for the Sega Genesis, wich was what four generations ago? I know it came out in 1994. The kicker was the price! 4.99 USD!

The game had very impressive artowrk for a 16 bit cart, and was really hilarious. Certainly one of the Genesis best offerings. I think it would be radical if the artist who did the preliminary work of Jim were to make a EWJ movie. It would sell really well for sure so the risk would be minimal, as long as they take some care in making the movie it would blow over real well. Or at least bring the animated series back.

"24 Megs of Play Action" - Reads the top right hand side, oh man I got a chuckle out of that when I saw it. I almost bought but decided to put on hold for a moment as I have not much cash a copy of Knuckles Chaotix - a 32X game that is rediculously hard to find. The guys said they can hold it for me for another week. After a lil snow shovlin' or cd trading I can pick that bad-boy up! but then I will need to find a 32X...
