It Is Just Too Damn Hot! Update: It has finally rained good and hard!

It has cooled down 20dF since yesterday. Rained ALL night!

...I am slowly being cooked alive. I can't drive my car after 10 in the morning without being burned every time my elbow rests on the window jamb. My neighbors refuse to come outside at all in the afternoon. And I don't blame them. I went on a road trip over the past weekend and did most of the driving before the Sun came up.cool
...Nice and rainy today... I was out splashing in the puddles like I was a kid again!

Wow, what a bummer - I remember those humidity / heat plagued summers, and I definitely do not miss them, but here in Norway we have more rain thanks to the Jet stream going to far south and trapping the Atlantic moisture up here. If I could I'd send you all some rain which you could sorely use at this point in the drought. Stay cool if you can Tyler. cool

Usually the temps stay around 70d to 80dF. In July this year it was 90+ and no rain. It seems now that things are more normal. It has been raining at night and daytime temps are lower. Whew. coffee
