F1 Race (France)

Kimi's exhaust blew up and burnt a hole through the side of his car. Now that I have never seen before. Brundle even accused him fiddling with his steering wheel to change the radio station. Yes everyone was bored. Also abother thing, if you watch F1 in your country thanks to the ITV link, ie having to listen to Martin Brundle and um the other guy. It's terribly annoying how biased they are to Hamilton and British drivers and so negative to drivers of other nationality.
But alas, thats just what I think and who cares about that. Back to the race. Massa once again won this, though it was Kimi's race to be lost. That moves mister consistency, (consistency and Massa, who would've thought) to the top of the Drivers' Championship.
Second place was the Iceman, even with half broken car. Just goes to show how much Ferrari dominated not to mention Kimi being blindingly fast.
On to Trulli. A brilliant third place. Punching well and 'trulli' above his weight. Well not his weight, his cars weight. He is and always has been a great driver. Held off a double world champion and a quicker McLaren. He did lose 3rd place on the last lap at the last corner a few years back. Obviously he didn't want it happening again.
Fourth place saw the other Finnish guy, yes that little Heikki. Fairly solid drive but he just doesn't seem to have that extra gear that the top drivers have when they need to pick up the pace, the like of Kimi, Alonso, Hamilton even Massa. I honestly do not see him staying there for next season.
Fifth belonged to the former leader of the Championship Kubica. BMW were just not on song at the French Grand Prix. Fifth was about the best that he could have done given the teams lack of pace.
Sixth was Webber. Once again pulling in those few precious points for Red Bull. On current form it would appear Red Bull are leading the midfield pack, given there was a Toyota in front of him but he still keeps bringing home the points.
Seventh and for the first time this season Junior brought home some points. He even beat Alonso. Boring races could bring out the best in him, or was everybody else just sleeping.
Alsonso brought came in the last point scoring position, hardly a result he would have wanted in front of the French fan and Renault's home race. Oh well better luck next time.
Of course there was also Hamilton who got a penalty for cutting a chicane to maintain a position. Anyone with one eye and a half brain would see that it was justifiable penaltly but oh not Brundle and co.
