Books

Prompted by a Twitter question I started thinking about books I have read throughout my life.
The first books I remember reading are Enid Blyton and Nancy Drew books and the Sweet Dreams series. I read these when I was under 10 and enjoyed them.
At age 11 I discovered Stephen King, James Herbert and Richard Laymon. I also read Virginia Andrews and Jackie Collins, in fact I learnt all my sex info (positions, blow jobs etc) from Jackie Collins' books (my parents don't read so they didn't know) but she (JC) also helped me with knowing what I was ok with and what I wasn't ok with sexually.
I get amused/bemused with film/game ratings when you can read any book at any age, for example I read Misery at 10 years old but the film is an 18 cert.
I don't know how to end this blog in a satisfying way, just to say I recently read Pratchett, Rowling and Agatha Christie.
Regards
