Black Skimmers Pt.1

The Skimmers and their babies were the last birds I took pictures of on Cocoa Beach. The reason is that I didn't notice the them until the last day on the beach, when lifeguards had tapped off the nest site. People still got mobbed by the birds though of course. The careful people like me had only one or two birds fly around them, it was impossible not to upset them. However, the less careful had nearly the colony buzz them. :eyes:

For size, the chicks are about on par with the sanderlings in the last post. :smile:
