Changing Woman's Blog

My blog depicts me and my changing approach to life..da ever changing philosophies to life..da serious and da nonesense dilema's of life

what the sufi's say.......?

A concept that i would like to share,.......the ultimate religion of love!

reading to maulana Rumi, Buddha, Mahavira,Tao and to many other religious and spirtual leaders i have began to believe in the religion of love.
Religion is basically the path of loving God/gods and their creations, when one controls his material greeds and the stravation for more, when he rises above the mentle of competition and realizes that giving has its own charm, when he does not want to compete for the struggle for survival and does not pay heed to the direction his life is leading, when he can accept crucification for truth and forgets his survival for a reindeers life.....that is when he becomes truely spirtual!
When you love God, you don't impose your love on to others, you allow them to carry on in their style. you don't stop to say this act is wrong and that is right, you stop, smile and go, like the touch of sweet southern winds.......thats the love of God!
May it be a church, mosque, temple, synagogue or simply no where a person in love with the gods can see luminous and enlightments. because he knows that all the path go to the same destination......................,cuz he love god!

Why do we read Quran, even if we can't understand a single Arabic word????distracted nights

Quote from here:
"
Distribute In Danger

there are many eclipses and inauspicious astrological circumstances have been forecast

- “You want to deliver the people, but they are dying of famine and disease. You do not go to help them, but if they die, to whom will you preach? So relief work is necessary. First give them food, medicine and good health. After that you can give them inspiration about God. This process is good. But if they die then who will you help in a spiritual way?”

- reply to him was: “If there is a famine in the country, and I have some food and am distributing it to thousands who are flocking around me, but someone runs away, what should I do? Should I continue distributing food to those who are nearby, or, stopping that, should I run after the man who ran away to catch him and give some food to him? What should I do?”

..
The body is always inviting death. This body means an invitation to death. This body is so dear to us, but our real welfare is to get out of this body and not re-enter such a body which is so cherished by us at present. It is with the association of this body that I am dying and in danger.
..

There is also some arrangement in the Sastra to send some food to them. Food is offered in their name, and that food is given to the sadhus, Brahmanas and cows, etc. Thereby, they get that food.

..

by the process of mantram. There is a society of rsis that look after the affairs of transmitting it to them. In this way, according to their necessity, the forefathers will receive that food from here.

..
For those whose karma is that they will not take birth here again, they go towards the sun. The moon revolves around the earth, but they cross the limit of the attraction of the earth and go elsewhere to have their life nearby the sun.
..
We are asked to have our direction through the sun, through light, through knowledge. Jyotir abhyantare rupam atulam syamasundaram. What is light? In the proper conception light is knowledge. In reality, knowledge is light; ignorance is darkness.
..
Piercing even the light – knowledge – we shall try to find ‘Syamasundara’. We have to try to seek that through the ‘sun’, through the ‘light’. That is the remote direction given to us by the revealed mantras of the Vedas: “Go to the light. Avoid darkness. Welcome light.” Light is the representative of knowledge. Tackle the knowledge in such a way that you can find a cosmos which is very beautiful and personified as evergreen or kisora. Satyam sivam sundaram – that is Truth, that is Good, that is Beautiful.
..
The light. The sun is giving birth to all this by sending his ray. The universal subject is helping your dependent subjective identity to see and experience this world. Try to connect with that.
..
Here comes the question of submission and devotion. It is not only light, not only knowledge, but there we will find that a venerable plane is on the other side, which we should serve, worship and respect.
..
If we can engage ourselves in that endeavour, the result will be our increased capacity to go higher and higher in that direction. There will be no other remuneration for such an endeavour.
..
it will be venerable, spiritual cultivation.
...
by the halo of that noble substance, all misunderstandings will be cleared and we shall have the connection of the real Truth as a whole. In addition, we shall be blessed by the higher rewards of our attempt when properly guided in that direction.
..
higher, inconceivable, conscious experience. It is proper knowledge in the universal characteristic, and whatever we find in this world is defective knowledge.

By the way, if you are interested in
finding out,
who is that Supreme God,
- it might be useful to see,
how it is explained in
sikhism:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLb0BzlGy2U&feature=related
There are many
videos,
but after watching them very
attentively,
you can find out,
sikhism has
taken elements
of Vedic dharma
(eternal religion)
and said,
the Supreme God
is Vishnu (Rama, Krsna, Narayana...)

that same God is worshipped
worldwide
in Abrahamic religions
with names like
Allah, Jehowah,
Jesus, Elohim and other -

they are -
in terms of
Bahai Faith -
are God or/and expansions of
God (avataras).

Jesus is accepted as
shaktya-vesha avatara

Even though
it is said:
"path to Supreme God
is only through Jesus,
son of God",
and
"Allah is Supreme God,
there is no other God than Him,
Muhhamad is the prophet"
it can be understood
that
God, Vishnu, Has many names.

That's idea.

thinking with my heart, my wish is to simplify. i wish to do good. i wish to do no harm to any living thing, except to harvest food.

i have no need for any god except my own understanding and conscience. my idea of spirituality is being able to do what i think is best for all.

my only work is to trick the devil within who is bent on distractions from this body of pain and pleasure and finally
death again.

then finally when i die, i will remember that god is the giver of life and i will be grateful to have lived at all. i will sign up on the list to do it again shedding all my knowledge.
