I was working on the best attributes of an Eastern society,these are ofcourse my perspectives,you can always add yours....
low divorce rate
Although the entire world shouts at the injust of an arranged marriage but yet in Eastern cultures marriage last longer than anyother,because in East divorce is not experimented with as basic human right but as the emergency call to ambulance with the prior knowledge that due to lack of efficient infrastructure ambulances only come to collect the dead bodies..
Connected families and value system
Since East is the world of rituals and cultures,families had to get together for various rituals althrough the year.Common values bring people close together.
Joint households
Although most people would disagree,but i personally think joint family system provides security to the entire house hold and an efficient role to the old people in the family,they are well taken care of.
The East with her association to the West had gained considerably when it comes to broadening the spectrum of enlightenment and development,Our lantern has been replaced by electric bulbs and pigeon with the letter nowdays is the SMS,yet the land bleeds in grieve of the fast changing trends when it comes to culture
