Wrote two more articles for Resolution Magazine and my first on something people might actually care about. Click for more.
Plants vs. Zombies is an awesome casual title - I gave it under the 90% barrier though; rather against the grain according to metacritic. I just didn't think it was quite in-depth enough to be worthy of 90% - I can't really see myself going back after I've finished the survival modes (other than to water my Zen garden). As for the review itself, I'm really happy with it. Although slightly shorter than I would have liked (I should have mentioned the coin-collecting mechanic and perhaps explained progression some more), I think it flows really well.
I also reviewed Crazy Machines Gold for Resolution. I dunno what's happened to it, it was hardly the definitive review of an amazing title however. As for me, it's time to start pitching to places that'll pay - much as I love SCL and RM (along with the other 37 thousand volunteer projects I've been on the verge of taking part in) I need to start getting paid for something. I'd love for it to be this.
