Creating a Personal Identity

Managing my money wisely brings me joy

The first thing to properly manage money is to realize if what we are buying or what we want to buy is a real need, an authentic want from the bottom of our hearts. Something that trully conects us to our own. Many people buy things just to fit in, sometimes because of the social pressure, sometimes because they think the others value what we are buying. Some people go with the "fake it until you make it", and live pretending to be and have what they have never been or had.

No matter how much you have or make if you want more there is a way to make it. You should cut off other expenses to put the money on the things you really value the most. You have to be coherent with your values and choices. A lot of people say they care a lot about the education of their children and spend so much in toys, clothes and parties. In the long term money spent on toys and clothes is money lost that later on won't help you for their education.

Another way to make more for the things that really matter is to look for an extra source of income and save that extra income as if you had never got it. You can always work freelance, sell something, give some specific service that even if it is not a permanent source of income; it will add some cash flew to your montly income. You can exchange or sell the things you don't use or need; so you can save on other expenses

Saving as much as you can should be a permanent habit, trying to get extra honest income should also be a permanent habit that in the long term will give you what you need for the things that really matter.

It really makes you feel proud when you are able to pay for something you have planned for a long time and been able to get with your own effort. The happiness that brings reaching financial goals with effort and patience is permanent joy that will always come to your mind in bad times to save you by saying: " If I made it once...I can make it again"....

Cheers!
