About me

The abandoned babies and children of China have been on our hearts for more than five years now.

Although we have raised our own five kids and should be looking for a life of leisure, we are planning to go to China sometime in the future to dedicate our lives to the love and nurturing of China's abandoned children.

The need is great. Many hundreds of babies are left at hospitals, at railroad stations, in boxes, even on the side of the road every year by parents who can't care for them. Some have medical needs and require surgery. Some are disabled in some way. Some are girls, when a boy was desired. Some are boys that are born to unwed mothers. Whatever the case, they need to be loved and cared for.

How can we turn our backs on these precious little lives who deserve a chance to be loved?

We plan to go back to China to explore possible sites for an orphanage or foster home in September of 2009. The voices of a million Chinese children call to us to come. They are hard to resist.
