How time flies, more than half of year 2012
has almost gone.
How have you been doing with your goals?
How many of the goals that you set in the
beginning of the year have already come
true?
If you are like most people, I bet that it's
not many.
Why?
It's simply because that people are working
too hard on their goals.
There is a HUGE misconception in the self-help
world. Many of the gurus will tell you that
if you don't get your goal, it is because
you haven't wanted it enough.
This is a deadly mistake. It will not only
do you any good, but also make you feel
awful. Because when you don't get your
goal, you will subconsciously beat yourself
up for not wanting it enough, not working
hard enough.
This will not only make you feel bad about
yourself, but also damage your self-esteem.
In fact, if you think about it, whatever you
want, you are not having it.
wanting and having are too different things,
and have two completely different feelings
attached to them.
If you're always in the state of wanting
your goal, you will never have it.
In order to have your goal, you must first
reach the feeling state that you already
have it.
This is not about telling yourself again and
again that you can have your goal, like many
gurus will tell you.
That kind of affirmations will take too much
effort, and it is not guaranteed for
success.
What is important is how you feel about your
goal. You must change from the state of
wanting to the state of having.
You must feel so confident that you can and
will have your goals.
Many of the popular techniques have been
trying to help you accomplish that, but from
my own experiences, most of them fail, it's
because we all have a doubter in mind,
and we gave up before we can reach the state
of having.
Best Regards
