It seems most people do not understand the meaning of same sex marriage. Well let me make it clear first that same sex marriage is as equally sinful as prostitution, abortion, stealing poor peoples money and many more. But since the world has become so crazy to such an extent that we have reached an extent of accepting prostitution as a form of business one can perform to earn a living, we are not supposed to be crazy people by saying no to same sex marriages rights in an attempt to save our cultural values, as if prostitution is one of our cultural value that we must keep.
IN MY OPINION
Same sex marriages can mean living together, caring for each other and living together as a couple without having sex- if a father of roman catholic can manage so too same sex couple can manage to do the same. It is a sin for a preacher to preach that same sex marriages means sleeping with each other like ordinary couple.
IN THE PAST DAYS
I came across many sad and shocking gender-based violences like; a woman cutting the manhood of his husband for the reason of mistrust, a husband inserting a sharp object in the private parts of his wife- and injuring her in the process- for the reason of mistrust, a husband cutting off both hands of his wife for the reason of mistrust and many more gender-based violences.
CONSIDERING THESE VIOLENCES
I feel same sex marriages can be the solution to gender-based violences like the ones above. But do not forget that God shall alway be the solution of all problems on this crazy world of ours. So let God judge the criminal when it comes to same sex marriages rights issue.
