An Amateurish Enthusiasm for Photography

This was pretty cool. Right next to the volcano there's no life, the gases are too toxic and the volcano regularly chucks up. But walk for 10mins and you see the first signs of life encroaching, the most amazing thing was the sound. Next to the volcano there is nothing, only ominous rumblings. Suddenly you notice how quiet it had been when you can start to hear insects and birds.
