For all those not au fait (that's 3 languages so far) with the mighty world of football, Arsenal lost the Champions League final to Barcelona.
Although I am pretty sad that the Champions League trophy has not been retained by an English side, (Liverpool were last year's winners), I just love this photo:

Ok.... this is completely irrelevant to the topic, but I just wanted to say hi. Um. Er. Hi. I'm Karen and we've met at least twice at two different Hanami parties. I actually stumbled across your webpage by accident. I typed in "tokuyama" and "hot spring" into the Google search query and a link to your blog popped up.
Anyway, if you got a text message today from Tomoko, it was me. We were on our way to a beach party at Hikari. She was driving and had me send you the message. Too bad you couldn't come! Sorry it was such last notice too.
