Boasting interchangeable lenses and a 14.6 megapixel APS-C size CMOS sensor, it'd be easy to confuse the Samsung NX10 Camera ($TBA; Spring 2010) for a normal DSLR. That is, until you get it in your hands, at which time the camera's pocket-friendly size becomes apparent, made possible by the removal of the mirror box. Other features include a 3-inch AMOLED screen, 720p HD video recording capability, a built-in pop-up flash, HDMI out, and the DRIMe II Pro image processing engine.

We've had touchscreens now for a while, and we've had projectors for way longer than anyone reading this has been alive. So why haven't they been combined before now? Light Touch ($TBA) is only a reference product for now, but it features up-and-coming tech like holographic laser projection technology that allows it to create a bright, high-quality, always in focus WVGA resolution image — up to 10 inches — on nearly any surface, and pairs it with an infra-red touch sensing system to turn the projected image into a touch screen. In addition, it runs Flash Lite, allowing for a whole host of different applications, and boasts Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connectivity, 2GB of onboard memory, and a microSD slot for expansion.

Like a hardtop convertible or convection oven that also microwaves, the Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid Notebook ($1,000; June 2010) combines two ideas to make a single product. One of the more interesting computers to come out of the 2010 CES, the U1 sports a unique dual processor, dual OS design that allows you to remove the screen and use it as a touchscreen tablet, or simply leave it be and use the computer as a normal laptop. The fact that it's good looking helps its chances, as does a spec sheet that includes an 11.6 HD LED screen, Windows 7, built-in 3G wireless, and more.

If the last week was any indication, 2010 will definitely be the year of the tablet, and the Dell Mini 5 ($TBA) looks to be a solid option amongst the sea of upcoming slates. Rocking a five-inch multitouch screen, five-megapixel rear and webcam-quality front facing cameras, a built-in SIM card option, Wi-Fi, an included headset, and Android OS, it will be blurring the lines between phone and computer later this year.

If there was one word to sum up the 2010 CES, "3D" would be it, and the Vizio 72-inch XVT Pro HD3D HDTV ($3,500) was one of the standouts in the nacent category of 3D sets. Sporting a mammoth 72-inch screen, it also offers 480Hz SPS operation with 480 zones of Smart Dimming LED backlights, wireless HDMI, SRS StudioSound HD audio, built-in 802.11n Wi-Fi with the Vizio Internet Apps platform, and, of course, Sensio 3D technology to make sure you get the most out of upcoming content sources like ESPN 3D.

Ultra-thin with a price that puts it in decidedly more premium territory than the company's previous point-and-shoots, the Kodak Slice Touchscreen Camera ($350) isn't just Kodak's most ambitious pocket cam yet — it's also its most sexy. Sporting a large 3.5-inch, 16:9 touchscreen on the back, the Slice also features a 14 megapixel sensor, a 5x optical zoom lens, 720p/30fps HD video recording, optical image stabilization, an included rechargeable Li-Ion battery, and more.
