 ...looks like another good movie  ...like how much movies am I gonna watch because of you?

oh cute doll! so that's what that Enid gift was that you were opening  Glad you like what they got p:

Nita Autumnbright 30. November 2008, 05:02

lol how did you know that was the gift I was opening? XD Yeah it was from a friend in a Secret Santa group.

Well you'll probably end up watching a lot of films if I literally post about every single ones that I watchedin my blog. I tend to watch a lot of independent/ foreign films.

Randall 30. November 2008, 21:21

"independent/ foreign films".... yeah no kidding p: ..Enid reminds me of you p: I totally see you wearing the cat woman head piece  *body suit optional* :left: :eyes:

how did I know it was a gift?.. urrrrrr :left: .. a little asian birdy told me  That smile you had when you opened it was precious

I'm actually watching the flick now

Randall 30. November 2008, 22:21

wow Thora Birch was really good in that one  ...it ended well too.. she just LEFT! p:

Much better than Happy Go Lucky. That one was okay but could have had more to it.

Nita Autumnbright 1. December 2008, 04:26

Did you two MSNed or what? I get that Enid thing a lot, even before I watched the movie..the only difference between her and I is that I don't have an attitude. Or curse out of a blue. XD My personality is somewhat more like her friend, Rebecca.

The art class sessions are hilarious. lol. I didn't know you're into dark humour, Randy. XD

Yeah, Happy Go Lucky felt kind of sad at the end. I got suprised when credits popped right out after the boating part. But I guess it meant to be imperfect. Too bad for Scott, but I don't think Poppy would've been attracted to him anyways after he said "lock the doors." XD

Randall 1. December 2008, 04:49

yeah I caught her on MSN p: Now I know EVERYTHING about you :eyes: ...soooooooookey

 more like Rebecca huh? well that's cool too p: ...yeah Enid cracked me up :D Not to mention "Seymour" is just one of those underrated actors I just love seeing in any film.

yeah I thought they could have developed more life situations in Happy Go Lucky then tie up the loose ends afterward... I got bored of seeing the instructor :faint: He was basically the whole show.

I expected them to end it with the boat though cause they were talking about life & growing up even though they (well at least poppy) were children at heart.

The WAY it ended was cool... just the things that led up to that end could have had deeper meaning. The part with the vagrant felt completely disjointed from the rest of the flick "know what I mean"? ...it didn't seem to bear much relevance to rest of the film & if it did it was weak :faint:

overall an enjoyable film... but nothing like Ghost World or Penelope

Nita Autumnbright 1. December 2008, 05:08

Sorry, Randy..you don't know everything about me. Probably never will. XD P: But you probably might get a secondary idea about me anyways. You're just one tiny step ahead. lol.

Yeah Buscemi(guy who played Seymour) is a good actor, his other movies he played in are quite funny. I thought it was cute when Enid visits him in the hopsital, and showed the sketchbook.

You got bored of Scott, the instructor? XD Yeah, I guess he can be grouped as one of the antagonist in the movie. I seriously thought he would be a lot more happy and eased up more...turns out he was just heartbroken.

What did you think about the Flamenco teacher? LOL.

That's true, not as great as Ghost World or Penelope..but I still didn't mind paying for the movie ticket. P:

Randall 1. December 2008, 05:27

hey hey a few more MSN encounters with Khammy & I'm good to go  ...be afraid... be VERY afraid p:

you know I figured he liked her before they said it p: but the whole thing was way to drawn out ...talk about ISSUES that guy Scott has :eyes: ..but then... I think the world really does push many people to that state :frown:

The Flamenco teacher went OFF!... I think the movie showcased everyone around Poppy with some problem or the other. Poppy has her troubles too, she just deals with them differently.

Nita Autumnbright 1. December 2008, 06:23

Afraid my arse . You still will never know about me, I keep the darkest things to myself. <3. YOU must be very afraid. lol.

I bet Poppy is secretly Buddhist, lol. Glad her spirit stays strong <3.

Randall 1. December 2008, 15:26

 Dark!? I need a flashlight for your soul! ...don't worry.. my flashlight is called "charming" p: It will reveal all in you p:p:

Poppy? ...I bet she smokes Poppy! :insane:
