A release schedule was leaked. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it’s spreading like wild fire.
Looking at the list below, you’ll see the release schedule of Blizzard’s upcoming games with Diablo III listed in Q4 2011. I know, I know, I’m just as frustrated as you are, maybe even more… but at least this gives us some hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Now there are other games listed for release, but who the hell cares about them anyway? There is just one game most gamers have been waiting for, for-fracking-ever! …Diablo III.
Now hopefully all of this is true, or I’ve just shattered you hopes of seeing the game by then… Maybe Blizzard surprises us and releases it in Q1 2011. Meh, like that’s going to happen… we gamers do love living in a dream world though.
I’ll update when more info becomes available.

Thanks to a friend who sent me this link we can see now that Blizzard responded to all of this with the following:
Blizzard's response: "As always, we appreciate the interest in Blizzard's current and upcoming games, but we don't comment on rumors or speculation and we don't have any new announcements to make. Right now we're fully focused on the upcoming launch of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, and we're very much looking forward to celebrating that event with players around the world starting on Dec. 7."
Blizzard makes it clear that it's a rumor and they have no new info, other than the release of Cataclysm on Dec. 7.

But here is another point I'd like to make. Blizzard has announced Diablo III so long ago, fans are becoming so impatient at this point that they're starting rumors and hoaxes like these... How long do we still have to wait!? I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that Blizzard is really stretching this one out a little too long. I mean, they clearly stated that their primary focus now is fracking WoW. Delay after delay after delay... But WoW seems to stay on schedule? I'm sure the delays are for good reason. History shows us that Blizzard has always given us the best there is. Come on Blizzard, WoW has been around, and probably will still be there long after Diablo III's release. Not all fans who are waiting for Diablo III are automatically fans of WoW. WoW players still has something to play, while we who have been waiting for Diablo III since forever, keep hearing about release delay after the other...

Judging from the Diablo III video's I've seen, it looks absolutely awesome! Ready to be released imo, but who am I to say if it's ready. I'm simply asking to hurry up, coz it's been too long already, and it's hard to believe that you're still busy with the game.

They aren’t that clear on the whole thing though…
“We’re exploring a Diablo-related concept for consoles and are currently looking to fill a few senior console-related positions on the Diablo III team.”
Exploring. Concepts for Consoles. *facepalm*
“Please note that this is not an announcement of a console title.”
But they’re looking for a “console-related” team member? Let me help right there. Stop, forget it, and focus on the PC version and get it done sooner!
”We are first and foremost developing Diablo III for Windows and Mac PCs and don’t intend to allow any possibility of a console interpretation to delay or affect the release of the game.”
Well that better be fracking true! Coz once they do decide to go console with a game like Diablo, which I think is either STUPID, or yet another obstacle to overcome to make it work, which in turn will probably delay the PC release anyway.
