Inside the Mind of a College Kid

Week 3 into my 6th semester here at The Pennsylvania State University. So far, this semester is starting to suck! Looking for internships during one of the US's most crappy economy is like trying to put out a fire with gasoline. Quite impossible at the moment. Even hospitals are cutting back big time and I thought this was a safe field for me to go into!! I really just can't wait until spring when the sun will finally start shining! Maybe then the work I do won't feel so bad...I'm hopeful. Anyways, been a very hecktic start to the week. Congrats to the Pittsburgh Steelers for winning the Super Bowl even though I was rooting for the underdogs, the Arizona Cardinals. Good game nonetheless, but a great deal of controversy arose from it. Sad that my NY Giants didn't get too far, but I'm still proud of my GMen for making it as far as they did in the playoffs.

Only about a month and a half left until Spring Break '09!! Plans? Nope! Too poor right now especially since I'm trying to save up for the conference for the ACHE in Chicago at the end of March. I'm really excited to go, especially since the club has gotten to be so close with each other! Can't wait to go to the bars with them...oh and also maybe network with some big shots in the health industry! Should be fun and expensive! haha
