Second Chances

I really am now a true believer that everyone is given a second chance at life. Last night on my way back to school, I was driving on the interstate highway behind an 18-wheeler when suddenly all the snow on its roof spilled on to me and caused my car to slip and spin out of control. I stayed calm and tried to avoid any cars or dividers as to not damage my vehicle or body. Could not control the car at all and decided to pull on the emergency break when I hit a snowbank on the side of the road and was stuck! Thank God I nor my car was damaged! A similar event happened to me last winter on my way back to school and I again stared at death in the eyes, with the help of whoever is watching me up there, and drove away without injury. I don't want to gamble with life anymore and have learned to really open my eyes now. I do believe this is a sign that I was meant to do great things with my life no matter how small or big it may be, just like everyone has the same opportunity to.

Just really wanted to get that out of my system now and hope everyone will be safe out there! My break went by fairly fast as always and I mostly worked and tried to save up some money for school. It was also a great time to see old faces as well as new ones back at home!

Classes started today and overall, my professors are pretty fun so far. I hope they can keep up this level of interest for the students because that will make this semester much easier to complete. I wish everyone going back to school or already in it the best of luck! Tomorrow I will need it, for I have an interview with two of the doctors here at school for the admittance into the graduate program. I really hope I can wow them! Going to watch Pineapple Express with my housemates then off to dreamland! Goodnight!

Hi Rei:

Thanks for the story of how a disater was averted and life and hope and purpose was realized. I believe the One watching out for you was God. He knows who you are and where you are at all times. If you have a Bible look in the Old Testament for Psalm 139. It will help you know how much the eternal God cares for you. It's one of my favorite Bible scriptures.

God bless you and keep you safe in his care.
Frank

Thank you Frank! I will definitely look into that and live everyday of my life as if I had a reason for being here!
