Alright time to get this group going.

, ,

Hi everyone,

First thing is I want to remind everyone that you do not have to drink coffee night and day to be in this group. Anyone can join. :D

I have been procrastinating a little bit with this group. In the next couple of weeks I will be adding more things and hopefully sending out more invites. :hat: Lets get this Coffee group party going. :coffee: If any of you have any suggestion feel free to comment, and hopefully we can use it. :D :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

Magnus Thanatos 28. March 2008, 16:16

I like Wolfgang Puck pods and grinding my own Starbucks...

Also, there are a variety of beans I get from a local store. One of my favorites is the Jamaican Blue Mountain..mmmmmmm but $$$$$ :yikes:

plenty67 29. March 2008, 09:12

when u buy beans u look for full roasted(black colour) or brown roasted!anyway both give caffein as long as they taste good!

Joe Cover 29. March 2008, 14:29

I always look for the darkest. The beans I buy are in clar bags so I also look for oils on the beans.

Magnus Thanatos 4. May 2008, 16:21

I would have but suicidalstones did plenty!! thanks SS!!

Patrick 4. May 2008, 19:42

What is the best coffee bean, in everybody's opinion? And what is the best way to make coffee? I fancy having it prepared by someone else and brought to me, but I would say percolated. There must be someone out there who thinks otherwise.

Magnus Thanatos 4. May 2008, 21:09

I say espresso style preparation. Hot and Pressurized...if you have one at home, you can use whatever bean you like. I do!!

My favorite bean is Jamaican Blue Mountain...man that is expensive too!!
But Supa Smooooth.

2nd fav is Hawaiian 100% Kona. My 3rd is Galapagos Island Organic...

I am sure there is better, but that is what I like!!

Patrick 4. May 2008, 23:11

Thanks, I'll do it.

Karen 4. May 2008, 23:53

I quite like the design as well. Good job, Sarah! :coffee:

ღೋSarahೋღ 5. May 2008, 16:59

:0 Thanks Karen.

Joe Cover 7. May 2008, 03:04

My favorite is Sumatra Mandheling, dark roasted. Espresso is best, but I like it drip also. I am thinking about getting a coffee press to take camping. Has anyone used one?

Joe

Magnus Thanatos 7. May 2008, 18:34

I have not used a press before, let me know how it is....

I use a Senso pod machine. I found a web site that I can get just about whatever kinda of pod I want!!

I also make my own pods from Fresh Ground!!!

Mario Kart Wii Tourney this SUNDAY!!!

Joe Cover 8. May 2008, 02:16

How do you make a pod? Do they sell little bags?

Joe

Magnus Thanatos 8. May 2008, 17:54

They do but...I have this!!!

They also sell these!

Mario Kart Wii Tourney this SUNDAY!!!

ღೋSarahೋღ 9. May 2008, 12:33

That would be fun to have....but only one cup at a time, right? I have to have like....12 cups at a time. p:

Magnus Thanatos 9. May 2008, 13:37

Well, yeah...but the pot never goes stale after 2 hours!!! It is really not a hassle to make a cup each time. I thought it might, but the coffee is SO DAMN GOOOD, It really does';t bother me. And I make BIG cups!!! hehe

It comes out frothy, mmmmmm, GOING TO MAKE A CUP RIGHT NOW!!! Some Kona!!

WEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Mario Kart Wii Tourney this SUNDAY!!!

ღೋSarahೋღ 9. May 2008, 13:52

Yey!! Sounds good!

Joe Cover 9. May 2008, 16:06

My drip machine quit working, so I bought a French Press. It makes delicious coffee, but it is more work, and it is messy.

Joe :coffee:

Magnus Thanatos 9. May 2008, 17:38

Messy huh....but good coffee...Good to know!

Thanks!1

ღೋSarahೋღ 12. May 2008, 13:40

Joe....Do you think you would rather have a drip machine now?

Joe Cover 13. May 2008, 01:22

Yes. I am getting one Wednesday. I will use it for breakfast. But I will still use the press, especially for backpacking and camping.

Joe

Magnus Thanatos 13. May 2008, 13:47

I would suggest getting a pod machine. I know, sounds complicated and tedious, but it actually isn't.

You can get great pods off the internet. I go to coffeewhiz.com and get them there.

And the coffee, even with cheap pods, is awesome!! Even better then Starbucks with the right pods...or grinding your own!!

But, that just is my opinion. Everyone is different. I wish there was a way you could get a sample cup somewhere to try it.

....

Magnus Thanatos 13. May 2008, 13:48

Oh yeah, NO MESS!!! SUPER easy to clean/toss away!!

ღೋSarahೋღ 20. May 2008, 02:41

JD 21. May 2008, 01:31

Magnus Thanatos 21. May 2008, 17:08
