It doesn't pass mate. Once you're attached, it lasts and she'll always be with you. It hurts, but you carry on cause you have to.

Great poem, Cois. I have been going through the same thing every time I look at my beautiful Honeybear. She is getting up in age and is having trouble walking up the stairs and I can't imagine my life without her. She has been with me since she was a puppy.

Our pets are our family, regardless if we only have them for a year, like my beautiful dog Jake who had cancer or my gorgeous baby Honey who is sitll with me. Jake was and still is a very important part of my life. He will never be forgotten. He left his imprint on our family.
