Where have you been little one??
Where have you run off to?
Leaving me so bare and undone..
Leaving me to emotions anew..

Shy not away from my embracing arms
I forgot why I needed you so much..
But so was tempted away with little charms
& I lost your cold gripping touch..

When I opened my fragile soul,you could not protect..
So return to me and deeply begin to fester
All the rage I lost when you I did neglect..
I beg for darkness & shed my last tear..

Be my heart a cold black gruesome sight..
The darkness will always be my light..

this is a good write cois. i had to read it twice to form an opinion (even if you didn't ask for my opinion).

i like the last stanza, but what stuck out in my mind and hit home with me was your words:

"All the rage I lost when you I did neglect..
I beg for darkness & shed my last tear.."

I know that you know what Mik knows. That is to say Mik knows what Clint knows, and Clint knows that Mik knows what he knows. Does he know that you know that Mik knows what Clint knows? For that matter, does he know that I know that you know Mik knows what Clint knows? I think he knows, you know?

If you know that I know that Clint knows what I know and you know that Issy knows what I know that Clint knows that I know even though she claims to not know that she knows what she knows about what Clint knows that I know as far as I know about, then surely you know that I know that you know what you know about what Clint knows that I know and Issy isn't sure what she knows or if she even knows what I know that she knows?

Some guy came up to my group outside college once preaching that very fact. He said we shouldn't be learning because knowledge and writing were the devil's work tricked onto us in the garden when the serpent convinced Eve to eat an apple from the tree of knowledge. I asked him how he knew and he said it was in the bible... :rolleyes:.

Screams of "THAT'S A BOOK! Get thee behind me Satan!" soon got rid of him.
