of chunking memory analogy and cognition and the Village Idiot

I'd like to rave a bit about Chunking - the process by which (my) human brains are able to comprehend
complexity, chaos and complicated wiring diagrams. The topic is covered more thoroughly in GEB - The Golden
Braid. By Douglas H. http://serendip.brynmawr.edu/complexity/course/emergence06/bookreviews/jrohwer.html
But the Opera community has taught me a valuable lesson in chunking. The Internet is Big by any standard.
And Opera has broken it down into a manageable community of Users. This is a chunk of the Internet that acts
like a Village. And a village understanding is a necessary starting point or Diving Board for International
understanding. If you are looking for a feeling of smallness in the vast (w)internet, you've found it at
My.Opera.com/Community !! Just share what you discover with others. peaceout
