Rally Bros. to host 2009 Frisbee Golf Tourne Saturday afternoon/evening OCT 24th CANCELED DUE TO RAIN

Location: 100 Hendrie Ave Riverside, CT
Tee Time: 5pm (call first 554-0273 for directions/schedule/teetime update) Note: Event is Canceled due to the rainstorm
Since the sunsets and it's dark now at 6:30 we're planning a 5 pm tee off with stock 141G frisbees. The frisbee you play with is
(pretty much) up to you. Anything from a CD up to a GCL [garbage can lid] is kosher, even on a Saturday. RAIN/CANCELBOT Time: Sometime Sunday

There is an excellent Friz Golf V Game available on the Wii game system. It's called Wii Resorts or sumsuch. I'd provide a linq for you but I'm actually trying my darndest to outgrow V Games. Advise?

Hmmmm. Official frisbee golf discs such as those by Innova and Discraft are nice and fly a country mile but they will tear your hand off (or remove your dog's teeth) in a game of catch. They didn't have those back in the day when the Whammo World Class 165g was the new standard.
Perhaps we should stick with standard size/shaped discs like those used for ultimate frisbee (175g or under) and keep it a level playing field (or else I am apt to show up with a bag of 15 discs for all wind conditions and length of shots) that maintains the friendly spirit of the game. Besides, the frisbee golf discs don't float so you had better hope you clear the pond. I might try to get my hands on one of those new-fangled gismos, however, just so we could try it out and see how they fly.

Gentlemen. Sorry I won't be able to attend. I would have surely kicked all of your asses. As a GHS grad, I'm sure my invite was purely B list anyway. It would have been great to see all of you.I still have the same exact frisbee. Hoyt, I'm assuming you have a sweet house in Marblehead, scorching wife, and a kid. I haven't been invited to any tennis member guest recently ; ) I've been playing. I don't totally suck. Jay, I need to hear a little of your riffing commentary...
Off to tend to my wee ones as the wife plays with her girlfriends all weekend....

I've been on HGH for the last week and its really increased the distance
on my tee shot, although I seem to get more upset (almost like rage)
