My OperaFirst Day Out

The first day of the season is always exciting. There's a buzz in the air...
I just got a new bike. It's a low-end Gary Fisher. About $400 at Cycle Dynamics in
Westport, CT. The salesman said it's black so you can put stickers on it! I felt like
a little kid. Should I put my STP sticker? or my Batman sticker on it?
The trails treated me right, tho' it's wet and I'm probably impacting something. Tuff.
Looks like they've got some new signage up from last year here at Mianus River Park
in Greenwich, CT. (Horseneck to us locals) I hope to ride about every day before it
gets too warm here. The trees haven't turned yet so one gets an interesting sound
as you buzz through the forest. No waves absorbed! I like the sound of my pedals and
my heartbeat.
Mianus River Park is located on Cognewaugh Road: about halfway up on the Right. You
could miss it if you didn't know it was there. Perhaps I should keep it a secret...
