I thought I'd share my FLV Video Player v3.0 design with you guys to get some feedback, comments and critics. Please see the screenshot below and let me know what you think.

Looks great to me, although i don't like the blue, I'd rather like it Orange :wink: Kepp it up!

looks good to me, but like Hannibal, i'd prefer a different color. also, since i'm new to some of the HTML stuff that goes into making things like that, i have a ? for you.

is that done in php, asp, or java? if so, then i'd never be able to do ne thing like that, as i was never taught php & asp, but was taught very very little java.

Hey Kim,

Thanks for your comments.

The application is being developed in Flash using ActionScript2.0 as the programming language.

Not only that, but it does use some HTML/PHP (the choice is yours) to parse parameter values through the player. It has many dedicated configuration settings in order to work the way you want it to.

i just wish i had someone that would teach me the php & other stuff like that, cuz the course that i took in web site design, didn't teach ne of it, just one chapter on java & one chapter on css.

i use codezwiz a lot, but recently some of the members have gotten grouchy with me, and i don't feel it's right for some of the comments that have been made to me about stuff.

i asked one time, about how to work with a site that was gotten for me, cuz i didn't know php, and was (very rudely, i might add) told that if i couldn't understand some of the simple stuff, htf was i going to understand php & the rest of it.

i understand a lot, but sometimes, it don't stick with me, and when it don't, i ask how to do it. i mean, to me, if i don't understand something that i know someone else does, y shouldn't i ask.

thats like the css for the pages here. i'd like to make my page so that it has the right side column, but also would like a left hand column as well, so that things could be "sorted" so-to-speak, with the main typing of questions, answers, blogs, etc are in the center. instead of the links & everything all being on the one side. but idk what language the css for this is in, and when i click on view source, i'm like "wth?" cuz some of the coding, i have never seen.

but i do like your FLV player, and give me time to sort my drives out, and i may even d/l it, and use it instead of WMP.
