Funky New Design

It's a very unique design, but it serves its purpose well.
The client wanted something shiny, vista-ish and modern.
The main purposes of this website is to sell adult websites to the public.
So it's not an adult website itself though.

Feel free to let me know what you think.
All comments are always greatly appreciated!

i would like to put a forums & other stuff on my site, but don't know how to put them together. if i could get someone to help me, by showing me how to do things like that, it would be a really big help, as i use BASIC HTML & BASIC CSS....ne thing to do with PHP, ASP, etc, i have NO knowledge of at all.
and it seems that i am losing the number one site that was helping me all along with my web site designing. i wish some ppl would quit making it so that others don't come back to a site they been a member of for a couple yrs already.
but, like i said, i like how this is done. it looks great, and also looks like something i would want to use for my site. there are a few items that i would like on my site, but i can't get them to work, once i get them put together on the site. i tried making "drop down" lists, and when i tried to add them to the web site, nothing happened, they didn't show up at all.
any suggestions would b great as well.

What do you currently have, and what do you need?
I highly recommend using Wordpress as a CMS for your site.
I'm currently running Wordpress on 10ths of sites, and its a great success.

I purchased Windows Vista Business, and wasn't really impressed with what I got for what I paid for. Switched back to XP for now. Also using Fedora Core 6 on a dual boot.

The thing that botheres me is, that there are parts of the page, that don't really have a purpose. Especially the dark grey area on the top, which works only for the title (which could be elsewhere) and adds nothing to the design, but takes about 20% of your screen. My roule is: everything must have a purpose. Of course, decoration is a purpose, but it must be intentionally made. On your blog you have about 20-30 pix of empty space between black opera line and actual blog. IMHO that is a waste of space. Try to imagine that each pixel costs 1$, how much would you loose then?.
But don't take it too hard. I really like your style; it is very clean and pleasn't. I just wanted to warn you on a few concepts you might be missing. I also think you have a good eye for colors and color combination. Keep up and post us more.

Thanks for your comments.
I'm definitely listening to what you are saying.
Problem is...i've been doing php/mysql for a very long time without really touching any design work. I think I've truly lost my touch over time, though I want to try and get design skills back.
The other problem with the template is the text that was inserted in Photoshop. It really looks much better when it is sliced to XHTML.
Thanks again.

I like simple, clean forms in everything it covers up a great sense of style so keep it up!
I think it depends on the current work what colors and styles of graphic one should use so, it's discreet and simple and because of it -it is nice.
Keep up the good work and yes, show more of your work- we enjoy it!
