Disappointed in Opera 9.0

I have rolled back to Opera v8.54 due to minor annoyances with Opera v9.0.
Unfortunately those issues make my browsing experience unpleasant, and I have found that v8.54 don't have these problems.
1.JS rollover images problem.
Seems to me like the 'onLoad()' command of JS isn't working correctly with Opera. Have a look at this site : www.contrid.com. Roll over those JS image links in the top right navigation of the site. You will notice that everytime you roll in and out, your browser loads the data.
2.Page Content Freezes
I have noticed that with v8.54 you can still scroll, type and click on content of pages while they are loading while with Opera 9.0, everything just freezes until the content has loaded 100%
There are actually many more annoyances, but these are probably the two major ones which makes me NOT want to use Opera v9.0. It's not that I have anything against Opera...it's just v9.0 which has disappointed me a little bit.
