I cleaned my notebook

Different from desktops, notebooks don't have plenty of empty space available, and thus heat dissipation is a much more important issue.
Almost a month ago (2009-08-29) I opened the bottom panel of my notebook and cleaned it, removing all accumulated dust from about one year and half of use.
Remember that I used to have Machine Check Exceptions? Since cleaning my notebook, no other MCE has occurred, so definitely the cause was overheating.
I've followed the instructions described by coriolis at ASUS Notebook maintenance - Cleaning the fan. They are pretty simple: you remove the screws, remove the bottom panel, remove the fan screws, blow all the dust out, and put everything back in their place.
Here are some pictures:

A lot of dust at the fan...

...and inside the air duct.

After all that dust blown away, the duct even looks shiny!

For blowing the dust out, I've used a hairdryer set at cold mode. DO NOT BLOW HOT AIR AT YOUR NOTEBOOK!

I've also used a brush to help removing some of the dust, and this screwdriver to open the notebook.

Of course, he was using the hot setting.
