I really appreciate the Evil Empire®'s respect for my right to protest. And, they're so concerned about my safety, they actually built a nice little fenced enclosure for me to protest in. Sure, some folks say it's too far from the action to make any difference, but who cares? I'm exercising the democratic process and just letting off a little steam. Ah, to be an American. What a wonderful thing.

And some of you may be wondering why I would bitch that they're not allowing people to protest the democratic convention as they wish, but there are two reasons why:
1.) This reminds me of a sympathetic bully: "It's OK, I'll let you get in a couple punches..."
I don't want your damn hand outs. I'll protest when and where I wish, thank you.
2.) The Democratic party, again, is no different from the Republican party. Imagine a cucumber ... and then imagine a cucumber with a condom on it. That's the American "democratic process."
